How we handle information you share with us
The short version
- We do not follow you around the internet after you leave.No advertising cookies, no ad pixels, no retargeting, no cross-site profiling. None of it, anywhere on this site.
- We do not sell your personal information.We use what you send us to answer your request and do the work.
- Optional measurement stays off until you turn it on.Analytics load only after you allow them, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we keep them off automatically.

Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to submit through our contact, ask-an-expert, referral, and job application forms, along with information you share by phone or email. This may include your name, phone number, email address, service request details, property notes, and referral consent. The job application form collects your name, phone number, the area of work you are interested in, your years of experience, whether you climb trees, and any optional notes you add, such as relevant experience, licenses, or when you can start. We use it to review your application and contact you about it.
How we use your information
We use this information to respond to your request, provide estimates, schedule work, follow up on service questions, and manage referral requests. If you contact us about a property, we may also use the details to prepare an accurate recommendation or quote.
Server logs and form records
We may keep basic server logs and form records for business, security, abuse prevention, and recordkeeping purposes. Form submissions can include the information you enter, the page that led to the form, an IP address, a browser user-agent, and a timestamp.
Analytics and search logs
When you allow Analytics & Performance in Cookie Preferences, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymized page-view and performance information. If a search-log receiver is configured, we may also record site-search terms, the page searched, result counts, an IP address, a browser user-agent, and a timestamp so we can improve our content; without a receiver, the production search endpoint discards the event. These optional services remain off unless you enable them.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies, ad pixels, retargeting, or cross-site profiling anywhere on this site. We use only two pieces of browser storage. kandiCookiePreferences is essential local storage that remembers your choice on this page for up to 180 days. kandiLeadContext is optional session storage that remembers the page or service that led you to our contact form for up to one hour, or until you close the browser tab. It is only written when you allow Preferences, and turning that off deletes it.
Global Privacy Control and your choices
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we detect it and keep optional analytics off automatically. You do not have to confirm anything for that to take effect. You can also review the technologies and purposes or change your choices in at any time.
